It may be nothing

...really when the story of the great freeze of 2014 comes to be written, but this weather is fabulously mild. Let's hear it for wet and warm. Or at least not freezing anyway. The coldest month of last year was March (fond memories of the broken boiler) and obviously that may still happen but so far we have a confused season. Last night we had a homework about ladybirds in the park(hello Florence) and butterflies are reported in Cambridgeshire and even swallows in the south of England. Snowdrops and frogs in January? Apparently so. What's going on? I have birdsong as I write, so someone else is confused. We may be snowbound by February but for now, this is just dandy. Actually, that'll do nicely-how about CONFUSED oldies?
Nige is offering Chilli-Con Cashew tonight which is tempting (if weird) but in Barden we trust. Have faith and all will be well.
