Hey there. Yes you. How is this Monday looking to you (apart from everything)? It’s not a scorcher is it but that can be a good thing; exam sufferers and those of a fair and sensitive disposition will be amongst the grateful. Had a busy weekend, eating food and talking nonsense to the Sunday Brunch folk at Channel 4. The lemon eclairs were quite sensational by the way. So that plus way too much football.I like the 3 matches-a-day phase or these tournaments but it is fair to say my views aren’t universally welcomed. Thank heavens for work to calm it all down…

So Gilbert O’Sullivan is on today with an ‘Essential Collection’ tucked under his arm. SO many songs here and memories of that ‘street urchin’ look he had when he first started playing the shows.
