It's goin' to be rainin' outdoors

Well good day to all, sunny and charming here (apricots, apples and raspberries mainly. Bit of yoghurt). I shall spend the day racing to the section in Anthony Horowitz’s Magpie Murders where I become a plot point. The sense of responsibility is almost overwhelming; what if I mess up? What if I give the game away?

Maybe to calm down I shall just read Ken Hom’s new memoir My Stir Fried Life. One of the most respected and celebrated TV chefs of all time, Ken has inspired millions of home chefs around the world. A leading authority on Chinese cuisine, he has taught Britain to cook Asian food. Looking forward to talking to Ken, I might even get the official word on prawn crackers.
