Just call me Arthur

Presenter

Who knows how these things work really. I type it in here, you read it there. But Friday’s post disappeared somewhere for which apologies. However it doesn’t seem to have affected your responses-top discussions all round I think. Maybe I should keep it brief-two sentences seemed to be fine on Friday! Hope that weekend was good for you; meals out, cinema attendance and a whole chapter written. And I cut the grass. And I loved Graham N talking to Bradley C. And Paul O”Grady was on top form. As was Michael Ball. It’s been a big R2 weekend in this house, as you can tell.

And wouldn’t you know we have a lovely chat with Art Garfunkel today. Last time he was on the show it was clear that his voice was in trouble-he even demonstrated the fact by croaking a scale. But he says he’s better now and the voice is back. This is good news as Art has had one of the most beautiful voices of the last few decades-I have all my Simon and Garfunkel albums plus Angel Clare, Watermark, Breakaway and the other solo discs. Let’s hear how he is tonight from 6.

And let’s try those CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW songs as it splashes today! Monty Don on breakfast now talking about how exciting it is to have the most astonishing plants from a round the world all in one place. And Her Majesty. BBC TV has loads of it tonight too. Your songs can create a magical oasis (yeah yeah we get it, move on).

Hope you get this one...
