That didn't take long

...but the weekend seemed to be over before it had started. Monday already and that is a frost on your windscreen. I was confused for a moment as I hadn't see one for a while but there it was, bold as brass. Anyone would have thought it was winter or something. And on Saturday I was being washed off Bodmin Moor. This was expected and predicted but I was still inadequately dressed. You're told not to go fell walking in jeans for a reason. It was still a splendid time and The Hurlers - a series of stone circles near Minions-were well worth the dampness. The apricot flapjack offered in the nearest teashop was worth it too, even if the sugar campaigners would have been seriously horrified. I dried off on the train home, steaming the carriage up on my own.

Today we welcome Francesca Simon to the show, the creator of Horrid Henry. 20 million copies sold worldwide! This woman knows her audience and they love her. And her dad is screenwriter Mayo Simon-everytime any of her dad's work appears on TV I get told I stole my name. Which is not true obviously. Anyway we can do HORRID HITS I think, songs with horrible behaviour and see what happens.
