Destination Diss. Bloggers of a certain age may well have the songs of The Singing Postman in their heads for the rest of the day. He was before my time but he was quite the thing for a while (I'm using 'thing' very loosely here). It's a beautiful day for it too with even Essex looking rather lovely so far, the concrete glistening in the early sun. But the baguette was filled and the coffee decent so all is well. The school I'm heading for is the only one I've had to cancel-twice-so hoping the Norwich service is tip-top with no delays, cancellations or replacement buses.

Then back to London for a JJ Abrams chat to talk Star Trek and thence to our lovely studio for some Drivetime action; Nigel's knocking off a lovely rhubarb and Pimms trifle

And how about songs for TREECLIMBING. The National Trust has updated its '50 things to do before you're 11 and 3/4' and announced the best tree to climb is their 45 feet tall Nootka Cypress evergreen at Wallington in Northumberland. Scuffed knees and grazed elbows here we come.
