While no one's watching

This time yesterday I was swimming in the North Sea (this is 7am btw) and very lovely it was too. 7am on Monday and it is my dreary old office one more time and wishing I had that sand-in-my-shoes feeling again. Sunny days on the beach after your official holiday have finished have an illicit, decadent feeling and I'm hoping for a few more before we hunker down for the darker nights. Plus, 2 blackcurrant ice creams in a tub which were explosively great. Easily pleased maybe, but you had to be there.

On the show tonight, the very talented Kacey Musgraves. She is 24, from Texas and the real deal. Her song 'Merry Go Round' was one of Rolling Stone's 'Songs of 2012, she got her first Country Music Award recently and most importantly, Bob H is a fan. This is all you need to know. She's been touring with Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss and Lady Antebellum and those guys know what they are talking about. It would be disrespectful to miss today's show. Her album is 'Same Trailer Different Park' and is full of lyrics which are a whole lot sharper than the casual country listener might expect. Go Kacey! (as the kids would say)

And with Kacey's trailer in mind, plus Friday's parade of happy caravaners on the ARF, leads me to suggest CARAVANS and MOTORHOMES as our oldies theme today. And CAMPING at a push. I realise that Kacey's trailers are not an exactly for holidays but maybe we can gloss over that...
