Soggy Wednesday in these parts with the likelihood of more sogginess to come. Waterproofs are out, bright yellow sowester needed.

So onwards with a grand show on the way starring as it does Giles Martin, son of legendary Beatles producer George Martin. 1st June marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and a newly mixed anniversary version of the album will be released, mixed by Giles and Sam Okell. Giles won 2 Grammy awards for The Beatles Love soundtrack which was part of a Cirque Du Soleil film. Anyway we get to play some remixed gems tonight so don't miss Giles Martin after 6.

So our oldies should celebrate the great producers! Spector, Horn, Eno, Quincy, Nile etc Just beautifully produced songs please...

Blog comments will be available here in future. Find out more.
