Wasn't expecting that!

So the GP says its pneumonia. Now I've had pneumonia before (at the same time as gastric flu which was a riot) and this doesn't seem so horrid. But apparently it's not that kind of pneumonia and it was ok to do the show yesterday. We shall see. It was a stressy day really what with the One Show duties and the most complicated end of show ever. But all was made very easy by Matt B and Gabby L (not R) being so lovely, even more so once they were reassured that I wasn't infectious. The truth is I never get to see The One Show as I'm always travelling home, so I binged on them over the weekend and was impressed. Very engaging and good company.

In comparison, today's show is rather more straightforward! Albert Lee is back on the show- 'the greatest guitarist in the world' according to Eric Clapton. He's been on before, many years ago, and still has the passion for his trade at 70 years old. 'Mr Telecaster' was lead guitarist with Chris Farlowe and The Thunderbirds, toured with The Everlys and Emmylou Harris and has been touring for ever. We may have done this last time but songs for a GUITAR MAN would be a fine thing to accompany Albert's return to the show.
