Ah Wednesday already. That Valentine’s Day scramble, card, flowers, chocolates, cake etc. So easy to get it wrong! Tread carefully now. It’s all a bit silly really but if we get to play I Want To Know What Love Is on repeat, then all will be well. When younger, that card count really mattered. Today we welcome the combined talents of Maureen Lipman and Martin Shaw-yes, together! They star in The Best Man, written and produced on Broadway 60 years ago and all about a race for the White House, following a womanising presidential candidate as he battles his way to the Presidency. Lets be honest, who wouldn’t vote for Judge John Deed! Or Inspector George Gently? AND its produced by Bill Kenwright who was playing some cracking tunes last night in his Golden Years show.

And we’ll do a GIVING IT UP playlist as Lent starts today (obviously after the champagne, chocolate and cake).
