Blog on the move! Walking! Jostling! Barging! Such is the delight of commuting to work today. Although on the way to Star Wars. I know. It's hardly work is it? Even I feel guilty. As one of those who queued and marvelled at the first one/Episode IV at the Dome cinema in Worthing, sitting in screening room on a Monday morning in the 'glittering West End' is quite a thing. I am celebrating with a 3-topping porridge.
Back to books and Himself by Jess Kidd today. We are back in Ireland for one of my favourites of the year. Louis De Bernieres (no less) calls it a magic realist murder mystery and that seems about right. As well as being laugh out loud funny. Read some here then listen in for Jess Kidd tonight.
It's the BBC Music Awards tonight of course. All the talent, none of the ads for credit cards. Like an end-of-year prize giving really, a school speech day without the speeches, or the school (that analogy ran out of steam pretty quickly). But PRIZE GIVING songs will work rather nicely.
