Get cape. Wear cape. Fly.

Lovely Thursdays. Bob Harris Country on the way and much fun in-between. And I miss Bob’s show when it goes out so catch up when I get home-here’s my theory. Bob has the best time of anyone. And now I know it’s true because I have recorded my show for Radio 2 Country, our pop-up station which is incoming! And I loved doing a one hour show full of country songs from the movies and so will you (unless you hate country, obvs). More details next week…

Later Nigel has a pear, chocolate and ginger crumble on offer (this is just getting better) and we’ll do deliveries as a special bespoke service. And as you may well know, I fancy a cape. There’s something about its swirliness and swooshiness which appeals. Maybe it was early conjuring obsession. Maybe it was growing up listening to Rick Wakeman or the 60s and 70s singer-songwriter albums I have with beret-wearing, pretentious, sensitive types dressed in CAPES. And in those days, pop stars knew how to wear a cape. None of that falling down nonsense. Songs for CAPE WEARING is a must don’t you think (rhetorical).

Must fly
