There are many assumptions that run through weather forecasting. The imminent arrival of cold weather seems to be delivered with the breathless assumption that we will all be saying ‘At last! A proper frost/snowfall/ice rink is what we need!’ And some of you will think that but I will not. My cold weather wardrobe is not adequate. Can we not stay with mild? I shall reluctantly reach for my scarf but I yearn for the thin cardigan.
Some holiday conversation today inspired by yesterday’s 3 worder from the already booked. Some are fabulously organised, others less so. Where? For how long? Costing how much? I would like Iceland or Finland but will expect boring old France again. Oldies will be taken featuring some TOP HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS and then we can dream as we shiver…
Oh, and Nigel has some gluten-free Lasagne for you. One day he’ll sort deliveries but until then it’s just radio.
