Hey, I’ve got nothing to do but smile

Tricky to know when you’re ok to work. Sometimes it is clear, then again sometimes not…So I’m writing this, assuming that I’ll be ok. Thanks to Liza for stepping in at the last minute, just a shame I missed the Tunesday. Anyway, as I lay in my sickbed, surrounded by books, papers and electronica I decided to watch some Peaky Blinders. This is one of those series that I missed out on and everyone raved about so what better time to start. I’m ashamed to say I watched 3 whole episodes. Such decadence. But not as decadent as Versailles which was pants (or French knickers maybe). But I can't keep up that level of self indulgence so work wins. Here we are. Unless I have a relapse... 5pm it is.

And anyway who could miss Steve Earle and Shawn Colvin on the show? 2 great talents with a fine album of duets called, logically enough, Colvin And Earle. Their voices work so well together. New songs, old covers it’s all lovely. And your part in this is picking THE GREATEST DUETS EVS, songs that show the power of 2 voices. Which should be worth at least a moment of your time.

So assuming I make it, lets get on with it.
