A pleasing show yesterday I thought. Lovely confession- 'let's pretend we're a couple' indeed- and the great Dave Edmunds in for a chat. Think I might have persuadedhim to tour after all! He has so many good songs to choose from, it would be a top show. Then a post show take away with Canadian singer-songwriting legend Bruce Cockburn and Aussie writing legend Tim Winton-both great wordsmiths and appreciators of a good naan bread. I gave my copy of our Bookclub pick 'The Orenda' by Joseph Boyden to Bruce who is learned in these things anyway, had read his other stuff and liked it very much. A satisfied customer.
So let's rock on for todays drivetime and another Dr Mösh special a MöMosh, a Michaelmas Mosh or whatever you fancy really. And how about Hercule Poirot oldies? Tonight we have David Suchet saying farewell as Agatha Christie's Belgian super sleuth, a role he has filled since 1989. That's some record! Some Poirot pop please.
Have an optimistic and fragrant Wednesday, see you at 5.
