A dark Tuesday here, but the radiators are warm and I get to meet Amy Adams. This, on balance, seems a good Tuesday. Her movie ‘Arrival’ is one of my favourites of the year and I shall tell her so. This is the kind of endorsement she is waiting for I know, so it will be a great relief to her.
Loved David Essex yesterday, still got it, still sparkly-eyed and fabulous. It’s quite clear that many people are STILL IN LOVE WITH HIM after all these years. Time to book ticket…
And a 70s TUNESDAY today to fit in with the My Generation season which will be a treat. The 70s for me were school, kipper ties, flares, platform soles, 3 day week, new schools all the time and Vesta meals. So maybe we could do SEVENTIES-THEMED oldies too, if you fancy it. So get your brown cords and cheesecloth shirts out one more time...
