Hope your weekend was a good one, full of lovely things. I spent most of it in my new man-cave/writing room/shed/studio where there is room for only me, my computer and a coffee. I may be gone for some time.

Apparently we have a pretty decent week on the way, weather-wise at least. Drivetime-wise too it seems! Hooray! Our old friend David Hepworth is back with his latest music book Uncommon People: The Rise and Fall of the Rock Stars. It's a top read of course, as everything David writes is, and is a sort of follow-up to '1971 Never a Dull Moment'. David picks defining moments, turning points and myths of 40 rock stars from 1955 to 1994. 'The age of the Rick star' he writes, 'like the age of the cowboy, has passed. But like the cowboy, the idea of the rock star lives on in our imaginations.' Should be a good chat and ROCK STAR songs will be the perfect accompaniment. That's where you come in...
