It's the equilux. I never knew there was such a word (and neither does this phone). 12 hours of daylight today and from now on its more day than night, say the Met Office. So let's raise a cuppa to that! A new word to learn that's been around for ever. Day and night are not equal at the equinox in a few days, but they are today, your very own EQUILUX.
I will mark it with 2 shows, though the film show is more like half a show. It's racing from Cheltenham as you may have noticed, so we get moved to midday for one hour though we will squeeze in a chat with RPatz. That's Robert Pattinson of course whose latest film is The Lost City of Z and is a total charmer. Then an amble to the ARF duties and 1984 is our kickoff year. Torville and Dean win Winter Gold at the Olympics, goodbye to the halfpenny and the £1 note and Douglas Adams' So Long and Thanks For All The Fish was published. At the movies it's Amadeus, The Terminator and Ghostbusters. And on the radio? Who has the best tunes?
