Hat, scarf, gloves, thermals.

Ok well astute listeners may well have noticed my voice is thin and feeble. Germs, weakness, coughing. I blame Mark Kermode as I sat in the studio with him for 2 hours on Friday as he wheezed and spluttered through the show. I also blame the weather, child 3 and the TV. I was watching the new series Fortitude set in the Arctic Circle and it made me fear for my boiler all over again. Frostbite seems inevitable. I need more of the stuff Chris is playing-Jack Johnson! Hawaii! Heat! No illness! Peace and harmony! Everyone holding hands and drinking cola in distinctive bottles together!
Trouble is, hot hits might not work as they could well sound silly. So with the Beast of the East keeping our temperatures lower than Greenland (or something) and Fortitude posters showing a frozen Michael Gambon (I worry for him) ARCTIC oldies please…
And the appearance of our latest TUNESDAY couldn’t come at a better time for my weary larynx. 22 minutes of Supper’s Ready by Genesis looking tempting!
Wrapping up.
