“Poor little sucker, how will it learn, when it is climbing, which way to turn?” This is just one of the questions Adam Hart-Davis wants his children to consider through the delightful ditty ‘Misalliance’, sung by Flanders and Swann. The track he inherited from his parents is “Three Brothers” by Joyce Grenfell.

Adam Hart-Davis is an author, photographer and broadcaster, well-known for presenting the BBC television series Local Heroes, which involved him cycling round the Yorkshire region in his trademark fluorescent pink and yellow cycling gear. He has also presented What the Romans Did for Us, and is currently doing How London was Built on ITV1.
