Raymond was the first person to be seduced by Heather's charms. After their relationship fizzled out, she managed to blackmail Lewis before leaving Shieldinch.
She returned to the area more determined than ever to make her mark on the business world. Heather sweet-talked her way into sharing the Blinc Inc premises with Scott, until she blabbed to his landlord about the sub-let and they were evicted. Heather then took over the lease and opened a new bar, Versus. She was involved with Marcus, and refused to believe Gina's accusations against him. Unfortunately, she found out too late that they were true. She stabbed Marcus to death in self-defence, but the case against her was found not proven after Joanne Rossi claimed under oath to have killed Marcus.
She's been in a happy relationship with Gerry but she wasn't counting on an interruption from her long-lost husband, Duncan, and daughter, Freya. We've seen a softer side in Heather since she admitted to terrible post-natal depression and a traumatic relationship with her own mother, and she helped look after fatally-ill Duncan and their daughter, although it threatened to rock her relationship with Gerry. Thankfully, Duncan now has a clean bill of health and her life with Gerry got back on track.
Duncan's decision to take Freya to Australia caused a few problems but she decided to go with them for six months, leaving Susie in charge of Versus. Gerry proposed to her before setting off to Australia with her but she didn't accept and he came home alone, feeling left out of Heather's family. She returned to Shieldinch to find Gerry in bed with Niamh, and Scott living in her flat.
After throwing Gerry out, she's been living with Scott but she's reconciled with Gerry and the pair are happy again.
