Callum is no longer in Shieldinch.
Callum moved to Glasgow to study Journalism. He first appeared in Shieldinch as Steph McKenzie's boyfriend, where he helped her to torment Heather.
Callum has a strong moral conscience and cares passionately about social injustice. He would gladly break the rules to achieve, what he perceives to be, the right and just conclusion. Callum feels he can make a difference through journalism. His strong beliefs often land him in trouble; he is outspoken and opinionated.
He tried to win over Kelly-Marie with his cheap and cheerful romantic nights, but ended up falling for older woman Eileen. However, she started an affair with her boss, Archie. She started treating Callum badly, only calling him up when she wanted to make Archie jealous. He finished with Eileen when he realised she was using him. Callum left Shieldinch after being wrongly accused of theft by the real culprit, Shazia.
