I saw Mummy kissing Santa Gabe...
There was much hilarity over at the Mullen's house, even with Lenny Murdoch at their Christmas table, they all had a right old knees up. I wonder if Molly has any plans to release a Christmas Hits album? I think I'd pay good money to hear her sing again!
There was further Festive joy for the Mullen's when wee Bubba got engaged! It was so sweet, Stella proposed under the Christmas tree just as the snow was falling. All very romantic! Let's hope Bob has better luck this time, I think this could be the fourth time he's been engaged! He'll be alright as long as he doesn't have his Stag do in Prague, we all know what happened the last time he went there - wee trip to the sexual health clinic, that's all I'm saying.
Deek got by with a little help from his friend's, managing to feed all the 'hungry, lonely' people and bag himself a new job in the process. Did anyone else notice how ever tactful Murray just referred to the community centre guests as 'lonely' right in front them?! It was nice how Robbie et al gave up their Christmas dinner so that Deek could save face. That's what I call Christmas spirit - and Iona had certainly had a lot of the 'spirit'.
Next Tuesday it's New Years Eve and as ever there will plenty of drama for Hogmanay! Eileen and Gina fall foul of some pesky mice, Gabriel and Leyla try to deal with their feeling after that kiss and Christina is distraught to find out that Big Bob isn't planning on coming home...
Since it's Christmas, I've treated you to some extra pictures for you to remember it by! And don't forget to let us know what you thought of this week's episode.
P.S. There will be no blog next week as since it's Christmas but I'll be back after New Year.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! I hope you all have a great time!
Quote of the Week
Scarlett when telling Stella how many places to set at the dinner table: "Let me see, there's youse two, me n Jimmy, Kelly-Marie, King Herod, Molly, Tattie, Christina and the weans."
I loved that she just threw that in there! King Herod, Lenny? I can see the similarities! This is also the quote of the whole series from our Script Editor Ciara Conway!
