Psycho Sandy's hair was well and truly evil this week! What a nasty piece of work he is! He tried to fool everyone into thinking that Annie was the unhinged one but the truth came out in the end - Sandy physically abused wife Annie for years until she finally ran away from him. It was very distressing to see the bubbly, happy-go-lucky Annie being turned into a timid, scared shadow of herself. I shed a bit of tear when she bared her soul and told everyone of the horror she had to live through. Thankfully, Sandy was run out of town by the Shieldinchers, I think he got off lightly, they should have had him thrown in jail. On a lighter note, I really will miss that hair.
Jezebel Jo is being quite the little conniver over at the arcade. She's trying to set the Fabulous Brodie Brothers against each other and has now gone into league with Lenny Murdoch - I hope she knows what she's doing. From next week's sneak peak it looks like she's succeeded in her mission. Will Leo and Gabriel let a woman come between them?
Zinnie the Pooh was the one getting pooed on this week, I actually felt a bit sorry for her! Her parents are avoiding her calls and her attempts to fit in at the Brodie's backfired. Conor and Adeeb ended up getting steaming on a bottle of vodka while Zinnie was supposed to be looking after them - oops! Those boys were hilarious this week, the fake phone call had me giggling and they were totally rubbish at hiding the fact they'd been drinking! Worst rebels ever!!!
Next week's episode should be entertaining - we've got the Jo/Gabriel/Leo love triangle coming to a head and a Shieldinch football match. Football match = men in shorts, hoorah!

Quote of the Week
Conor (to Michael): "He has a telescope..." that has got to be the worst excuse I've ever heard! If you're trying to convince your parents to let you stay out late, come up with something better than that.
It's official - Tattie's in, Iona's out! The marriage was lovely, Tattie looked beautiful and Big Bob looked handsome and dapper in his suit but I must say it has left a slightly bitter (potato) taste in the mouth. Big Bob thinks that he's marrying a woman who loves him and that she's having his baby, but he doesn't know that little Spudnik isn't actually his kid. Would he have given up on Iona if he knew the truth? Personally I think that if Iona had actually won Big Bob she would have been bored after a week. But what do all you think? Is Tatiana the evil woman who has trapped Bob or can they be genuinely happy? Take a look at their wedding album
here.
Smarmy Sandy morphed into Psycho Sandy a few times in this episode but miraculously his hair stayed in place!! He must be on to my detective techniques. But he's proper crazy eh? He was defintely doing his best 'Sleeping With The Enemy' routine. He was sneaking about trying to scare Annie by sticking knives through her clothes and he stole Charlie's phone so that he could send her weird texts, what a freak! At the end he finally revealed himself to her and she looked terrified. I can't wait to see what happens next week!
Zinnie the Pooh was up to her shenanigans again this week. For a moment I thought we were seeing a nicer side to her but no, she didn't like Nicole getting to close to her and so she deleted her homework! Zinnie also has young hormonal Conor wrapped around her fingers and somehow he ended up stealing a brooch for her. She was also hilariously scathing to Amber about the quality of the clothes in Hola. Oh she's a little minx but I do love a panto villain, she's going to give us lots of fun!
Here in Dumbarton, we're all gearing up for starting filming again next week. Everyone's had a nice summer break and now it's time to crack on with new series. We've got plenty more exciting storylines planned!

Molly: "Amuse bouche? What the hell is that? Oh, I'm no eating that!"
Molly (later in same conversation): "Aye, I'm sure his bush needs amusing!" - really that whole conversation was hilarious!
Who will win the battle for Bob's heart in tonight's River City?
BBC One Scotland, 16th August at 8pm.
Hoorah! Finally Feeble Fraser got some comeuppance! I knew that Not-So-Legit Lenny wouldn't let us down: it was starting to look like Fraser had actually got one over on him, but of course, Lenny was on to him. Fraser tried to do him out of £6000 but Lenny managed to expose the truth in front of Amber. So what's next for Feeble Fraser? Amber has dumped him and thrown him out the flat, Deek has pocketed the Heavenly Herbals money and ended their partnership and worst of all he owes Lenny £6000 and has made a lethal enemy. It's not looking good for our foolish friend!
Big Bob has got himself in a bit of a mash too. Does he want to have his potato cake and eat it!? It's the eve of his wedding to Tattie but he found himself in a passionate clinch with Iona! Tut tut! I'm not going to feel overly sorry for Tattie at this point though as she is pregnant with another man's child. Next week's episode is going to be super exciting, will Big Bob marry Tatiana or walk off into the sunset with Iona? Who do you guys want to see him with? I can't wait to see what happens!
Slimy, Smarmy Sandy what are you up to? Acting schmoozy and suave with Eileen one minute and breaking into houses the next! He clearly has some issues with Agent Annie as all her pictures bore the brunt of his crazy rage. But I have a fool proof plan for predicting when he's going to turn into Psycho Sandy - it's the hair! I touched on this last week but if you pay close attention you will see that when his hair is all slicked back behind his ears he's 'Slimy but Suave' Sandy and when his hair gets messy he's 'Evil Psycho' Sandy! Maybe I should pass this detection technique onto the police, I could be the next Poirot...
Quote of the Week
Molly (regarding Big Bob's wedding suit): "Aw, in the name o the wee man...Bob son, I've never seen you looking so stupit." - never go to Molly if you want a confidence boost!!
It cannot be the end of Jimmy and Scarlett! After Scarlett called the police on Jimmy for 'kidnapping' Madonna, both parties agreed that they had to behave like adults for the sake of their daughter. This left poor Jimmy resigning himself to the fact that he and Scarlett are definitely over. But please, please Scarlett will you just see sense?! She is kinda getting on my nerves now, I know Jimmy was in the wrong but she's taking it too far!
Elsewhere in Shieldinch, the Not-So-Legit Lenny vs Feeble Fraser mini battle is still going on. Bizarrely, Feeble Fraser is actually doing not too badly in stirring up trouble between Amber and her Dad, but I don't think Lenny will be taking this lying down! Last week it was Gabriel underestimating the Mighty Murdoch and now it's Fraser - these eejits really need to get a grip and Lenny needs to start showing them who's boss!
Light relief came in the form of the scheming Zinnie the Pooh who was trying to play havoc with Raymond and Eileen's relationship. It's not too serious at the moment but I reckon this girl could be dangerous! But perhaps not as dangerous as Slimy Sandy - what's that bloke all about? He rocked up in Shieldinch apparently looking at property and has ended up on a date with Eileen. But why is he acting so shifty, why is he asking weird questions, why does he carry a newspaper clipping of the samba drumming class, why in the preview for next week is he ransacking the flat and smashing pictures of Annie and why oh why doesn't he use a firmer holding hair gel?! Argh so many questions!
