Gabriel Brodie's halo nearly slipped this week when he almost sold his soul to dodgy Simon but he kept the faith in the end! And wicked witch Liz was transformed into his fairy godmother when she offered him some of her apple crumble! Hmm, Gabriel living with Malcolm and Liz? I'm not sure if it'll be a match made in heaven but there's certainly going to be no end of laughs!
In the O'Hara household Tattie'scone but not for long it seems! She's off to Ukraine to get her divorce but poor Boab's starting to get a wee bit paranoid wondering if she really is the sweet potato he thinks she is. Is she just after a visa? Molly certainly thinks he's picked a rotten potato and she dislikes wee Tottie even more - those two are just waiting to boil over into full on war!
McCabe's now got Jimmy carrying the white stuff and I don't mean he's become a milk man! Jimmy is slipping deeper into the criminal world, will he wisen up soon and realise drugs are for mugs? I hope so!

Quote of the Week
It was a tough choice this week, I laughed out loud a few times, but I think it's got to be:
Gabriel: "(I'm sorry for saying)...that you had a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp."
Liz: "You never said that!"
Gabriel: "Oh didn't I? Well...anyway, I'm sorry..."
Oops! AWKWARD!
Big news from the River City Press Office today - Wee Bob is coming back and so is sister Kelly-Marie! The following statement has been released:
Wee Bob is back with Kelly-Marie in tow. Bob will be making his return to Shieldinch with some extra baggage - his big sister Kelly-Marie. Bob headed off to Peru in early April as Kelly-Marie was having relationship troubles - but both will be returning after things don't go to plan. Their return will be on-screen in September but the pair have started filming together in Dumbarton.
On returning to the cast Carmen Pieraccini says: "I'm really excited about coming back and being with all the Adams again and of course seeing the cast again. It's been three years since I last played Kelly-Marie and a lot has changed with her - but she's still the same girl at heart and will be lots of fun to play again."
Stephen Purdon plays Bob and adds: "I can't wait to get back to work especially as I will be working with Carmen. She really is just like my big sister and we have always had great fun working together." Stephen took a break from filming earlier this year due to illness and says: "I'm now beginning to feel back to myself and want to thank everyone for their support and wishes."
Executive Producer Gaynor Holmes says: "It's great to see Stephen back at work and we're delighted to be welcoming Carmen back to the show too. It's fantastic to see the return of two much loved characters at a time when the show is continuing to go from strength to strength. Bob and Kelly-Marie have always been very popular with the audience and they are bringing with them an exciting storyline which is set to shake things up in Shieldinch."
Kelly-Marie will be on screen in September, with her last on screen appearance in April 2008.
We are really excited about it here in Dumbarton, what do you all think of Kelly-Marie's return? What do you think she'll be getting up to now that she's back in Shieldinch? Let us know your thoughts!
So Deek's singing the prison blues and it doesn't look like it's gonna be a jailhouse rock, in fact he's going to be downright miserable. He's innocent and really isn't going to be able to handle all the hardened criminal types banged up with him. Even worse, it's lovable Jimmy that's to blame for his predicament! What do you think of Jimmy's actions? Should he give himself up or leave Deek to fend for himself? The wrath of McCabe would be a quite a big reason to keep quiet - he was absolutely terrifying in this episode! For more pics of poor Deek languishing in jail click

Unlucky in love Jo was asking one night stand Simon will you still love me tomorrow and the answer was a big fat no! He couldn't get out the door fast enough when he realised she came with 'baggage'. But it looks like Gabriel would like to be more than just a part-time lover, he was genuinely gutted when he found out she'd been with Simon. Will that pair ever get it together?!
Dr Brodie has been getting some nasty letters from someone that seems to know the secrets of the Brodie family, who do you think might be behind it? Give us your suggestions below.
Don't forget that River City will be featured on STV's The Hour on Thursday 19th May and Friday 20th May.

Random Trivia of the Week
Billy McElhaney (Jimmy) thought it would be a good idea to clean his white canvas shoes (it was the 80's) with fairy liquid. He swaggered off to a David Bowie concert but it started raining and bubbles starting seeping out of his shoes - he got some funny looks that night! Maybe Billy should reconsider becoming the next Anthea Turner domestic goddesss...
Quote of the Week
Gabriel: "You can sweep my entrance anytime darlin'..."
Tattie has a baby tottie - Christina! And her arrival in Shieldinch has certainly stirred things up a bit! After giving Tattie a roastin for being irresponsible, she went on to expose Tattie's half-baked lies to Big Bob - she's got a daughter, she's lost her job and she's still married! But when the chips were down, Tattie managed to save her skin and Big Bob forgave her, not only that, he wants to marry her to stop her being deported! So rather than drive a wedge between them, Christina has made the couple stronger than ever!
Elsewhere, what is going to happen with that drawer in the garage? Jimmy has stashed McCabe's counterfeit money in there but that last shot makes it look like it could be a ticking bomb and the clips from next week show Deek being arrested! Oh no!
Poor Deek, he doesn't have much luck with the ladies either does he? Stella did a good job of letting him down gently and it looks like Deek got the message - does this mean that Stella and Bob will be loved up when he gets back from Peru? What are your thoughts? Do you think Stella should be with Deek or Bob?
This week has been quite exciting at our Dumbarton Studios because we've had STV's 'The Hour' filming a backstage feature, so look out for that! It's due to be broadcast next week but I'll keep you posted on the exact details.

Molly: "Away and bile yer heid!"
Holyrood just doesn't have a patch on Shieldinch elections! We were right in the thick of it with evil campaign managers, ruthless politicians' wives and Nick Morrison standing down live on TV. It was so exciting! There was of course a smattering of cuteness in the form of over-zealous Charlie - it was hilarious when he realised that he'd forgotten to vote! Aaaaaw!
Now that the truth is out about Nicole's crush - what's Nicole going to get up to next? She's not one to stay quiet for long...
I can officially clear up the other great mystery of the night (you've been buzzing on Twitter about it) - yes, that was a wig that Hannah Morrison was wearing! Frances Thorburn who plays Hannah was starring in a stage show and she had to dye her hair peroxide blonde for the part, hence the wig.
On to the sneak peek for next week - who is the mystery girl that is with Tatiana? Hmm, all is obviously not what it seems with Tattie-Bogle!

Callum Duff: "Who is Nick Morrison? At least people are actually asking the question, this time tomorrow it's going be like: 'Who's that guy again? The wee ginger one.'"
P.S. Big congratulations to our Producer Lizzie Gray who's getting married on Saturday! We wish her and husband-to-be Nick all the best!
