If you missed last night's Sex And River City on Children In Need, you're in luck. The whole thing's on the iPlayer. You'll find the sketch and live performance starting 22 mins and 30 seconds in. I hope you enjoy it. I think they were great!
I have kind of borrowed a bit of tonight's Children In Need to share with you. It's probably best that you don't tell anyone...
In a Sex And River City sketch, to be shown just before the ladies launch into their song and dance routine, Lisa Gardner (aka Joanne) pretends to be SATC's Carrie. She shares tales of Shieldinch and here's a wee taster of what she has to say:
"When it comes to man trouble, Manhattan's got nothing on us. Let's start with Eileen. Actually, that's what most young guys around here say... "
And that's just the start! Tune in tonight - BBC One Scotland from 1900 - and watch out for the River City ladies' performance. I'm going to try and get back online at the end of the night to find out what you have to say so please use the comments form below to let me know what you think :)
There are now only a few hours to go until Children In Need begins and our girls are understandably nervous.
"We're feeling a wee bit out of our depth cos it's going to be live tonight but we keep telling ourselves it's all for a fantastic cause!" They were keen to point out that they're not hoping for a number one single, or an appearance on the X-Factor... but I like to hope that Simon Cowell might be tuning in tonight ;)
They certainly look the part - they're totally glamming up for tonight although I doubt the budget has stretched to Sex And The City's ubiquitous Manolos.

Two of our Sex And River City ladies will be appearing on MacAulay and Co on Friday, 14 November from 1005 to talk about their Children In Need performance.
Listen live to Radio Scotland or online, or use the iPlayer to listen again.
Visit the Radio Scotland website for more details.
BBC Scotland's Glasgow HQ has been rather taken over by all things Children In Need, as everyone prepares for tomorrow night. We can't move for Pudseys! As I write, the River City ladies are in the studio, rehearsing for their live performance of 'Here Come The Girls'. I just nipped down to watch them and it's looking great! There's a wee 'Sex And The City' sketch to go before their song, so you've even more to look forward to.
Here's a sneaky glimpse of the studio.

I'll be taking some pics of the girls later on, which I'll share with you tomorrow.
Shocking news! Chewin' The Fat's Ronald Villiers has taken part in a very special BBC 'Who Do You Think You Are?' investigation and has discovered he's related to our very own Eileen McCallum!

Er, okay, that may not be *entirely* accurate but you'll find out what I'm on about if you tune in to Children In Need on Friday, 14 November from 1900.
Hello! Long time no speak. Sorry for the lack of chat recently but I promise to make up for it.
As I'm sure you're aware, this Friday sees the return of Children In Need and some of the River City cast are gearing up to take part. Lisa Gardner (Joanne), Claire Knight (Iona), Libby McArthur (Gina) and Deirdre Davis (Eileen) will be doing a live performance of the Sugababes' song 'Here Come The Girls', which you'll be able to watch on BBC One Scotland!
I'll have some more gossip here for you tomorrow :)
