Daniel's In Neighbours!

If you haven't already spotted him, Daniel - aka Marty - is appearing in a few episodes of Neighbours this week. We don't know exactly which ones (sorry!) but he plays an English footballer and it's well worth watching out for.

Jenny & Gray on the Movie Cafe

Jenny Ryan (who plays Tina) and Gray O'Brien (Billy) are the stars of a lovely new short film called 'Bon Voyage', which has been written, produced and directed by one of River City's behind the scenes stars, Neil Mac. They'll all be on Radio Scotland's Movie Café this afternoon to talk about the film, which also features a wee song by Ryan Fletcher (Vader).

Listen to the Movie Café on Radio Scotland at 1315 BST today, or its repeat at 1915. If you miss either transmission, you can catch it on Listen Again.

Carter Turned Down Hollywood!

Carter (who plays Sergeant Harry Black) is also the fight director on River City and other Scottish shows. Apparently a Hollywood hotshot saw his work on River City and offered him a chance to work on a Brad Pitt movie but Carter turned it down to continue to work in Scotland!

These facts came to light in a story published in today's Scottish Sun newspaper.
