He won't be in Shieldinch, though, cos his scenes were filmed at the Mar Hall Hotel in Erskine. Tony Kearney (Scott) will appear in a gaelic play for a new digital TV channel, run by the Gaelic Media Service in collaboration with BBC Scotland. By Iain Crichton Smith, the play's called 'The Shadows' and was directed by Eleanor Yule, who directed the Peter Mullan film 'Blinded'. Tony plays the former student of a retiring teacher. Cora Bissett, who plays new baddie Yvonne, admitted to the Evening Times that her character was inspired by "a couple of hard-bitten, scary lassie schoolgirls from [my] early days in Methil in Fife". As well as contributing to Niamh's harassment of Fi, Cora is a Drama Outreach Worker and an award-winning theatre director.
