Back by popular demand, the official River City tours return in March!
Operating on the first and last Saturday of each month, between March and November, the tour offers you the chance to walk through the streets of Shieldinch and get a look at the interior studio sets.
Four tours will run throughout the day, each lasting approximately 1.5 hours. Please note that these tours take place outwith the production schedule so there is no cast or filming taking place on set during the tour. However, this allows you to get a complete behind the scenes look at how your favourite soap is put together.
Bookings can be made from Thursday February 1st 2007 by calling the booking line on 0870 603 0304. The first tours kick off on March 3rd... reserve your place now!
The results are in on the BBC Drama 'Best Of 2006' Vote and we're pleased to say River City managed to sneak in there so thank you to everyone who voted!

Jo may have left Shieldinch for sunnier climes but Allison McKenzie is going even further afield. She revealed her hopes for Hollywood in an interview in the Sunday Mail.
River City vs Corrie. Discuss. Nah, there's no point, it's too easy ;) Obviously, we're biased but the Daily Record wrote a piece praising River City last week and we're very happy about it!
Find out how Gray O'Brien's coped with his traumatic scenes as Billy in this Daily Record interview. And keep an eye on this very website for an exclusive interview with Billy himself - coming soon.
You can now access the River City website anywhere. If your mobile phone has internet access then you'll be able to read our episode guides, find out what's coming up, check out the FAQ, download cast photos as wallpaper and, more importantly, download video clips to your phone! So, you can have a dose of your favourite show whether you're on the train, waiting for a bus or lying on the beach (well, we can dream about being on the beach)!
This page will tell you everything you need to know. River City is the only BBC drama to have its own dedicated WAP site so this is a very exciting move. Do let us know what you think on the messageboard!
