Gironimo! Riding the very terrible 1914 Tour of Italy
Shattered wheels, broken arms, kidney failure, lost eyes... the 1914 Giro D'Italia is renouned as the toughest cycling race in history. So naturally, 48 year old writer Tim Moore decided to recreate this gruelling Tour in period costume and on a 100 year-old style of bike that he built himself.
