An artistic collaboration can produce amazing work but, for the producers, it can also be an emotional experience. Producer, Liz Pugh, talks us through different partnerships and gives us some tips on how to protect our creative hearts.

An insight by Liz Pugh, Creative Director of Walk the Plank,into artistic collaboration

Co-founder and Producer for Walk the Plank, Liz directs some of the company’s large scale outdoor performances, and has acted as consultant, mentor and trainer for artists and arts organisations. Before waving goodbye to dry land to set up the UK’s only touring theatre ship, Liz worked for touring companies, local authorities & venues – including the Royal Exchange, Welfare State International, and the Pleasance at the Edinburgh Festival. She currently sits on the board of Xtrax, which creates showcase opportunities for UK street artists; and was nominated by the Cultural Leadership programme as one of 50 Woman to Watch in the UK .
