After the excitement of the battles rounds last weekend on The Voice, this Saturday sees the first live show on BBC One with Team Tom and Team Will facing the public vote.

As a charity that supports and develops talent across the performing arts - from music to dance to theatre, from grassroots community groups to the next generation of talent (check out some of our past winners) - we are delighted that the phone vote will be raising money for the BBC Performing Arts Fund.

The Voice judges sit in their red chairs.

As you may know, this year we will be concentrating our funding on music. Our first round of grants will be opening next month and will be aimed at community music makers. If you sing in a choir, play an instrument with a local brass band or make music within your community, then the group you make music with could be eligible to apply.

We're beavering away finalising all the details and making sure that the website is bang up to date for you, but in the meantime you can keep in the loop about all things PAF by following us on Twitter, liking us on Facebook, or signing up the newsletter. Or all three of course!
