Podcast Notes: CCTV part II and Firefox Futures
I was away in Chicago on leave this week. But while there I took a little time to talk to the guys behind EveryBlock on hyperlocal news, and Steve Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, who, when last I knew him, was the paper's TV Critic and is now a blogger and internet critic. We'll hear from both next week.
On this week's pods and blogs we featured:
- CCTV Part II. Following our interview with musicians using CCTV to make videos we heard from directors using CCTV cameras to shoot films.
- After our interview with Jonathan Zittrain, we spoke this week to Tristan Nitot, President of Mozilla Europe, about their view of the future of the net, and the coming launch of Firefox3
- As I was away so no Britblog Roundup on the podcast this week, but all the links etc can be found over at Matt Wardman's place
Here's some film I created with one of the film-makers, David Valentine, using a technique called "video sniffing". I was hoping to do a bit of a Bob Dylan but it didn't really work - as you can see
