#ArcadeFire6Music - help pick the Ultimate Arcade Fire Playlist
Will Gilgrass

With help from producer James Murphy, Arcade Fire surprised fans this week in Brooklyn and uploaded a new track to YouTube all ahead of unleashing their new album Reflektor this coming Monday.
The follow-up to the band's Grammy and BRIT Award winning third album, Suburbs, has already had reviews from Digital Spy while Rolling Stone have been talking with Win Butler about the influences - so we want you to help us pick tracks for the Ultimate Arcade Fire Playlist.
Since their debut record, Funeral – they’ve won our hearts and ears with their distinctive blend of chilling vocals and multi-instrumentation, featuring everything from mandolins to glockenspiels.
But what do you think must be included to celebrate their sound and impact?
- Perhaps your favourite track from them, be it a single, b-side or rariety
- One of the huge name collaborators to the album – James Murphy or David Bowie anyone?
- Perhaps your favourite Canadian artists, particularly from Montreal - from Neil Young to Cold Specks
- One of their Merge label mates such as Wild Flag, Buzzcocks or Caribou
- People and places who’ve influenced them – trips to Haiti and Jamaica had a big influence on their new music
- Or other bands who just scream Arcade Fire to you
You are in control of the music so let us know what you want us to play by commenting on Facebook or here on the blog, Tweet #ArcadeFire6Music, email us at nowplaying@bbc.co.uk or add a track onto our collaborative Spotify playlist or Rdio playlists.
