Along with a set of confirmed dates in North America and Europe there’s a huge amount of music we could play in a show dedicated to this band, but as always it’s up to you.
You could pick:
- Your favourite National tracks – singles, b-sides or rarities
- Bands they’ve been compared to like Joy Division, Leonard Cohen, Wilco and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds
- How about groups with brothers – the National have two sets – Oasis, Stornoway and Kings of Leon perhaps
- Other artists members of the band have worked with from Local Natives to Sharon Van Etten and Sufjan Stevens
You know the drill by now - let us know what you want us to play by leaving a comment on this blog or on our Facebook page, Tweet us using #National6Music, drag a track onto our collaborative Spotify Playlist or send us an email - nowplaying@bbc.co.uk.
