This Sunday, for one night only, Now Playing will be rebranded as 'Now Wearing', as we extend 6 Music's Wear Your Old Band T-Shirt To Work Day celebrations.
Now in sixth year and spearheaded by The King of Band T ShirtsTM aka Steve Lamacq, T-Shirt Day basically involves (yes, you guessed it) digging out your favourite band top and proudly sporting it at work on Friday November 22.
But T-Shirt Day isn’t just about a celebration of the art of the band t-shirt. Oh no. It’s also about being a music fan and the relationship we have with the groups who we follow.
So in honour, we're asking you and your beloved band t-shirt to get involved in Sunday's show to create a very special 'Now Wearing' playlist. Simply send us a picture of you in your favourite band top and we’ll try and play tracks by as many of those bands and artists as we can during the two hour show…
It’s up to you where we take the music.
