John Stott (1921 - 2011)

So begins the tribute to John Stott from the Langham Partnership (John Stott Ministries). On Sunday, we'll look back on the life and legacy of the man described bt Christianity Today as the 'architect of twentieth-century evangelicalism'.

Many thanks for the warm tributes to John Stott on today's Sunday Sequence. He was indeed an outstanding evangelical, with a love for the Lord, the Scriptures and the Church of Jesus Christ that was an example to us all.
His lasting legacy will surely be through his extensive writings, no doubt including the commentary series he edited, with the accurate and affirming title: 'THE BIBLE SPEAKS TODAY'.

As far as I'm aware he was pro science and rejected young Earth crerationism, so perhaps not.
