James Deane and Will Taylor

BBC Media Action, James Deane joined BBC Media Action in 2007 and is managerially responsible for its research and technical advisory departments working to help support the organisation so its work is as good as it can be – evidence-based, rigorous and impactful. He previously spent 20 years at Panos which was dedicated to developing country driven journalism and public debate on development issues, helping set it up and eventually becoming its Executive Director. Will Taylor is the lead adviser on BBC Media Action's Governance and Rights programming, reaching over 100 million people per year in 25 countries. Prior to joining the BBC he worked on Governance and international policy for organisations including The Asia Foundation, the UK Department for International Development (DFID) and the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO).
