Is Love Actually one of the most uneven films ever? It's like watching a drunk gymnast.

She is fantastic in that film it has to be said. But then again I think Emma is great in everything. Surely she should be made a Dame sometime soon?
The other scene I really like in Love Actually is the one where Alan Rickman goes to buy the necklace and is served at the counter by Rowan Atkinson. That scene is very funny indeed.
But although I think the Emma Thompson storyline is the best one in the film, I always have a hard time believing that anyone would choose that odd looking tarty secretary to our Emma. There is just no comparison! : )

Her and Kirsten Scott Thomas, another brilliant actor of our time who should work more, should do a french movie together, that would be weird-ish!
Secondly, interestingly (or not) the Boat that Rocked is called/translated to Good Morning England in France, which is better
