Believe it or not, this was originally written for Rihanna, but it was turned down and we’re pretty sure she’s regretting that right now. Grimes says of the song (complete with translation): “It’s our summer jam so we figured we should put it out cuz (because) I am very bored of waiting to finish my album b4 (before) releasing new music haha.” It’s very much of the school of Diplo’s bass-riding techno-dancehall, given moments to breathe by Grimes’ impeccable vocals. Love it or hate it, the bass is here to stay!
