His second album Half of Where You Live was only released last year, but this is the first glimpse we’re getting into brand new material. The idiosyncrasies, samples and under-the-cover-of-darkness feeling still remain, but this is a much smoother affair from the glitches that we’re used to. Throw in a little analogue tape his and you just about have it. It’s a low key release, but possibly a sign of things to come. You can also check Derwin out when he plays live at Manchester’s Warehouse Project on 21st November, and Alexandra Palace with Bonobo on 28th.
