"It was 1980-81, I was 16-17 and attended Monkwearmouth College. I Made friends with a top bloke called Anth Dunn who went on to be bass player with Martin Stephenson and the Daintees.
"Anth was so switched to what was happening at the time and did me a couple of great tapes."
