This track is a cover version of the Swedish Balearic pop duo Air France, exactly two years after they split. Air France were Joel Karlsson and Henrik Markstedt and New Zealand band Yumi Zouma were asked to cover this song. It also features a recording of Karlsson and Markstedt speaking portions of their own 'love letter' to the demise of the band: “Dear Air France…. Sometimes I think the way we met, happened too fast.” Yumi Zouma now reside between New York and Paris and their debut self-titled EP is out now on Cascine. Yumi Zouma’s Josh Burgess explains, “those cats [Air France] write music in a very interesting way. Honestly, I have no idea how they made a song like “It Feels Good To Be Around You”. They sent us all the samples as well as an early version which gave us an almost voyeuristic glimpse into their world.”
