Crooked Hands are a Newcastle / Glasgow five-piece, who just never quite got the attention they deserved. The harmonies, the wall of sound, the late-night indie feel of their work is all available on the five-track Penitentiary EP, available to download for free. That’s the good news, the bad news is the band are no more. They said: “You can So we have been sitting on this for quite some time but feel that it's time to let everybody know - we have decided not to continue as a band anymore. Personal circumstances have made it too difficult for us to hold the band together.” Shame, but this is cracking set of tunes to leave behind.
