Today’s MPFREE is something a bit different for the drums of your ear. It comes from collaborative effort Owiny Sigoma Band who hail from Kenya and London. It’s taken from the band’s excellent second album 'Power Punch', which is out now.

The culture clash came about when Joseph and Charles from the band departed Nairobi for recording sessions in North London which helped to blend the traditional Kenya nyatiti and Luo music with electro beats and UK production. They’ll also be supporting Atoms For Peace on their July tour.
