Although not a single itself, Animal follows single ‘Bound’, released in February. She was printing t-shirts for a living whilst teaching herself to play piano, and sent in a demo to the Future Sound of Nottingham contest – the rest, as they say, is history. She only made her live debut last year and the video for new single Smoking Gun will be revealed today. There’s no word of an album yet but it would be safe to assume there’s one in the offing. She could be one to keep an eye on.
