Wimbledon (iPhone / Android)
Football is rubbish, anyway... The next fortnight's over-excited and ultimately doomed sporting hopes will come from Andy Murray trying to win Wimbledon. There's an official app for that, too, with news, videos, live commentary and other features.
Song Pop (iPhone / iPad / Android)
No less than Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg says "Song Pop is one of the most fun Facebook games I've played in a while" - it's on iPhone and Android too. It's a music game where you have to guess songs, and then send challenges to friends (you could call it Draw Something for music).
Ocarina 2 (iPhone)
Ocarina was one of the first hit music apps for iPhone, despite being quirky - a simulation of an ancient flute-like wind instrument. Now it has a sequel, which lets you play pan-pipe-esque versions of pop and rock hits to other people around the globe. It could be seen as a novelty, but it's actually very innovative.
