Another day, another free download. Today’s free music comes courtesy of London quartet Fossa, a band who wear their influences on their sleeve.
Louis, Tom, Will and Joseph are currently, and unbelievably, unsigned but this track is taken from their debut EP Sea of Skies out now. They officially formed last year, although Tom and Louis (whose dad was a jazz musician) met when they were just 14 and started writing music straight away. Will’s the electronic wiz and Joseph played in jazz and guitar bands and orchestras. So when you listen to this track you hear each of those different influences fusing together to create something that feels like an amalgamation of Wild Beasts, Alt-J and Radiohead. No bad thing in our book.
