‘Whim’ was written during a couple of sessions at music festivals they were both playing at and nobody is really sure where the collaboration goes from here. They hail from that there Texas and Michigan respectively, with Aly having a developed interest in world music thanks to her father’s Egyptian heritage. She released her second album The Fits in January and Ben released his debut album Dug In last year.
