Talking about Jersey Live 2010

Organisers of the seventh Jersey Live music festival, taking place the first weekend of September, have announced the first round of acts.

This includes main stage headliner Paul Weller and Dance arena headline act Calvin Harris.

You can see the full line-up of the 2010 festival on the Jersey Live website in A-Z order including acts for both the main stage and dance arena.

Organisers said around 30% of the total line-up has been confirmed to date, with more expected soon.

So what are people saying about the line-up so far? There seems to be a lot of love for Calvin Harris.

On the Jersey Live Facebook wall Sophie posted that she was REALLY happy with the announcement.

"I love the man that arranged for Calvin Harris to come to Jersey, if i was God i'd make him a saint when he dies. he has made my eternity"

And on the website version of the Jersey Evening Post story: 'Modfather' booked for Jersey Live, there were three comments from people pleased with Paul Weller as a headliner.

Reggio thinks it will increase the number of tickets sold to people over 40.

"I think there will be a lot more tickets sold to the over 40's this time round , me included"

There will now be a competition, run by Channel Television Studio Jam and the Jersey Live festival to find local acts to play on the main stage.
